CFMEU CONSTRUCTION

The Construction, Forestry, Mining, Engineering Union (CFMEU) is a large union that consists of three separate divisions.

This page is dedicated to the division known as "The Construction & General Division of the CFMEU" (often called "CFMEU Construction"). It represents workers employed throughout Australia's building industries.

Membership of The Construction & General Division of the CFMEU (or CFMEU Construction) consists of workers employed to build Australia's towns, cities, roads, railways, schools, colleges, hospitals, mines, power plants, ports, stadiums and airports. Other members of The Construction & General Division of the CFMEU are employed as maintenance workers or to manufacture products for the construction industry.
